    i have this problem with my aircon.when the engine is on, there seems to be cold air however, when it is off, the air coming from the aircon seemed to be warm all throughout...
    any comment?solution?

    the aircon compressor only runs when the engine is running. If the engine is off, the compressor is not running. The aircon compressor is the part of the aircon system which compresses the refrigerant to get that cooling function.

    solution, turn on your engine if you want cold air from your aircon.

    The AC compressor doesn't work if the engine is off, since it is powered by the engine's crankshaft pulley/belts. All AC are like that.

    Only the fan (electric-driven) works when the engine is off.

    TAMA! unless bus yang sasakyan mo.....2 engine nun, 1 main and 1 for aircon!

    Yup, that's why if you turn on the fan when the engine is off, after a few moments medyo iba na yung simoy ng hangin na lumalabas sa vent. :D

    why would you want turn on your aircon with your engine off? sa kotse ka ba natutulog?

    i thought the thread title was a joke of sorts, hihihi

    the fan circuit is separate from that of the refrigerant system. the fan will work at ACC ON, but the compressor won't.

    kala ko run mali yung title ng thread.

    anyway, tama yung mga sinabi nila, bro. compressor only works when the engine is running. kaya when your engine is off then fan nalang yung umaandar.
