Yes that's what I will do. Since most of here suggest its the EV, I hope the shop figures the same. Punta na lang ako sa CeeJay since they have good reviews here. Thank you for the advice

Parang on and off nalang ang nangyayari..

Tapos sinubukan ko i off yung acu. Ayaw na bumukas ng blower. Pero after 5 minutes nag on na ulit siya.

Last na acu cleaning last Nov. Vios 2010/g po yung ride

Why are filipino drivers obsessed in having the evaporator removed and cleaned? Most if not all a/c shops in the country do not have a vacuum pump. They use an auto a/c compressor as "vacuum pump" and it cannot pull deep vacuum of 29.8 inches of mercury resulting in moisture and/or non condensible gases (NCG or air) in the system

^ * jick.cejoco - not really obsessed but it a "must" be cleaned the evaporator. LOL

because it's big and they can see the guy working, sweating on it and they feel good that they are getting their money's worth and it gives them the feeling that meron silang alam kahit papano...
and they read somewhere or binulungan sila, that evaporators need regular servicing...
AND, it's not as expensive as the compressor..
    heh heh heh.

but whether that evaporator really needed servicing at that point, is something else.

many shops now use legit vacuum pumps.. but not many use refrigerant extracting machines.. they still vent it on a bottle with water..

what i do notice on all shops is that they do not weigh the refrigerant charge instead they only use pressure and the sight glass as basis whether the system is full or not.

re the evaporator pull down for cleaning, air in the metro is so polluted that evaporators get clogged up with dirt and carbon that manual cleaning is necessary. ive seen used evaporators from japan and they are not that dirty compared to used evaporators here in ph.
