Most likely its a bearing or other mechanical compressor failure. Better have it repaired immediately as it might cause more damage to your compressor as well as other connected parts. Usually, the freon has to be removed as the compressor has two bearings located at both ends. Better have it estimated (after dismantling) so you may have an idea if its more feasible to repair or replace.

Pa repair mo kaagad bago umikot yun buong casing ng bearing sa casing ng aircon compressor. Hindi mo dapat nilagyan ng belt dressing yun belt. Hindi na dudulas ang belt. So ang tendency ay maputol ang belt or sirain ng stuckup bearing ang aircon compressor.

Assuming that its the bearing only (defective), I would suggest that you replace the seals as well as it might leak sooner or later, this will save you more on labor, refrigerant oil and freon.
