October 30th, 2010 06:36 PM #1i recently got a toyota corolla gli 95 automatic, engine, works fine while running, problem is when im on "D" and brakes pag traffic, the engine vibrates medyo "mayanig" kaya nilalagay ko na lang sa "N" para mawala, ive notice pag naka off ang aircon ko , di nagvivibrate engine ko. pls advise mga sir, is this normal kasi new A/t user ako, or should i get this fix?

oo bro, pacheck mo, baka need mo lang ng change Tranny oil at tune up ng makina....like spark plugs,air filter,etc....

October 30th, 2010 06:55 PM #3sir nagpachange oil and atf , and also the spark plugs nako, pinacheck ko narin engine support, ano pa kaya pwede gawin dito, pumunta na ko kay speedyfix to do this things, ok naman daw, pero iba kasi yong vibrations pag naka stop and D ako, i feel somethings wrong, kaya pag stop nag N na lang ako, need advise, do you think its the battery , one clik naman, pag start pero mga 14months na ..what else can do kaya,

baka me problema ka sa vacuum kaya kapag nasa D at nakapreno bumababa ang idling mo...

the characteristics of a small four cylinder engine like yours is exactly as you described made worse by low idle speed, misfire, vacuum leak or poor engine performance. the automatic transmission in gear still is a considerable load . by shifting to N not only saves you fuel, it also keeps the ATF cooler and reduce the strain to the engine and transmission mounts
