    Hi Bros, i have a 2006 Vios, currently without any tint, am thinking of getting one, but prices are very high nowadays;

For Php 3,000.00 ; are there any good tints out there? What Brand?

think 3m will cost you about 4.5k to 5k on the magic neutral. but well worth it naman. kasi yung platinum mababa ang heat rejection.

yug hiace ko kasi naka 3m neutral sa windshield at paltinum on the rest of the windows, at high noon, feel the glass, mas mainit yung windows compared to the windsheild.

*earthlyken, this would set you back by 1600-1800. try jeff tan ng ACA or LACar accessories sa Makati.

    * allanski, i suggest if you can't afford the whole front/rear/side package which would normally cost 4500 for good quality tints (Solarguard/3M), then do the rear and sides first. mga 3K lang yun. then to follow na lang ung front. Mas madali na magipon para dun. of if magaling powers mo to save, unlike me na mahirap magkaroon ng money on hand, tiis ka muna and save up til kaya ng ung full package. hard earned money yan. wag magrisk sa mura pero low quality/possibly fake 3Ms out there.

wag banawe.. naglipana fake 3M dun. you can hardly tell if totoo cia or nde based on the logo. meron kami dati sobrang mukhang totoo.. after a year, nagkulay talong! bad trip!

Thanks for the heads up and advices. Really appreciate it.

On that note, in SM Megamall, sa Blades Car accessories, they gave me a quote, abutin around Php2300 for tint ng whole car. Imported naman ung brand, made in singapore. Am just worried dahil wala silang tint rooms.

In Pasig/ Mandaluyong area, may reputable ba nag install ng tints?

Even the low-end models of authentic 3M tints will discolor. How soon it will happen would depend how much time your car spend in the sun.

Currently have the free 3M FX-series tints installed by casa. One year old na pero balak ko palitan to something that has better heat rejection and one that's guaranteed not to discolor (V-Kool 5 years, I think). Ipon lang muna ngayon. Medyo mahal ito eh.

sa tint, lalo na summer months, ill go for solargard or 3m. try calling or searching for the site of LAcars. alam ko may promo sila ngayon kahit sa v-kool.

    5 years warranty pa...

The low priced 3M tint nagbabago ang kulay at umuurong.

go for solar guard nalang. decent heat rejection. mga 4.5k lang yan.

3m IMO is just so poor on heat rejection.

Saang shop ba pwede magpakabit nung llumar or platinum aside from blade?
