kapatid, ang pagkaalam ko ay meron very thin film sa gitna ng salamin kapag laminated. said film will hold it in place & prevent the broken glass from spreading/exploding out in case it gets shattered. if smashing it is not an option, try to see the edges at meron very thin line sa gitna which is the laminated film..

i guess, the other one is simply called "tempered" glass..

for the experts and gurus out there, paki correct na lang po kung mali man ako..

as for aguila, i recall until two years back, that they are a reputable shop for windshield..

there are usually markings:

TSG - tempered safety glass, this is not laminated

i think if you run your fingernail over the edge you'll feel the plastic layer

may mga parang rainbows ang tempered glass kung titignan mo ang glass at an angle. ang laminated, clear sya from any angle.

Laminated is made by laminating a plastic film between two glass layers.
