Sir, suggestion lang wag mo na lagyan ng wiper stand as it might damage your windshield. It happened to me as I forgot that there was a wiper stand, it rained and switched the wiper and it damaged my windshield as the rubber of the stand pealed off when the wiper begun moving. The metal part of the stand made a long arching scratch on the windshield. Luckily nakuha pa sa windshield detailing. If not, palit windshield yun.

Hindi na kailangan tanggalin sa stand because it automatically retract once you switch the wiper. The problem I have experienced before was the rubber protecting the stand peeled off exposing the metal stand itself which cause the damage to the windshield.

    Yup thats it
The spring is so strong to rapidly snap the arm hence avoiding scratches on windscreen with good quality plastic material.

Haven't tried it yet with right-hand drive but you can ask the store regarding your queries to be safe;)
