Rear Windwield under warranty ba?, Defogger not working already

Tanong lang, under warranty ba ang rear windshield defogger ng honda?, etong mga past few days since its raining na pansin ko lang, 3 lines lang ng defogger ang gumagana, as to previous one na lahat gumagana, yes naka tint ako, but after tinting, na test ko sya agad since rainiy season nun nag pa tint ako, mga july last year, then ngayon ko lang sya nagamit ulit, 3 na lang ang gumagana, is this covered by warranty?

yes nag pa tint ako sa casa, pero nag palit ako, what do you think ang pwede ko gawin? pwede kaya tanggalin ko yung tint, tapos dalhin ko sa casa, tapos sabihin ko, wala nga akong tint e, hehe, lulusot kaya yun?

or should I leave the tints on and pretend its from casa themselves? BTW, casa's tints were 3M, I replaced it with Solargard.... any suggestions??

1 year, problem is nag pa install ako sa labas ng tint e, baka sabihin nila nag pa install kse ako sa labas

nope, i don't think that they will do that...

as they will surely see the damages made to the defogger when they removed your 3M tints...

sa labas ka yata nagpatint. if so, for sure void ang warranty mo, as for sure ito ang cause nung defect.

try this..pacheck mo muna sa casa, pag di tinanggap ng warranty demanda mo ung nag-tint for damages.

hindi ka naman naaksidente pano mo i-ke claim yun?! Besides, to replace the defogger, you have to replace the windscreen, which im sure is very epensive.

That's why reputable shops (like winterpine), inform you of the risks before tinting rear windscreens. parang disclaimer ba.

May sinabi si Ungas sa akin dati regarding defogger repair. PM mo na lang siya.

Kung may previous tint ka na pinaalis, talagang may sasamang defogger circuits don. Dahil diyan, hindi na talaga gagana yung ibang lines. Tapos hindi ka rin iri-reimburse ng Honda para diyan dahil man-made (and outside casa) ang damage at hindi factory defect.

Merong nabibiling circuit repair sa mga accessory shops. Minsan mapapagana nito ulit defogger mo. Tanggalin mo ulit tint mo, try mo yon tapos pakabit ka ulit ng bago. Good luck!

I dont think honored yan since negligence sya and not incidental (or factory defect). In addition, it's SUPER COMMON na nasisira ang defogger due to bara-bara tint removal done by almost all shops na nagtatanggal ng tint.

May binebentang defogger repair kit dati sa Concorde, the premise is simple, just apply a thin strip of conductive paint sa breaking point ng "circuit" (mukang circuitboard ang rear glass diba) and maayos na sya. In your case, it'll be right after the third working defogger.

Catch22... You must remove the tint again, by doing so, malamang masmadaming defogger lines matatamaan nanaman.

honga..punta ka nalang sa casa then haggle with them for the best deal dahil sila naman dapat umayos ng faulty lines..i guess heating elements lang naman iyan na naka-embed sa glass..

ganon din sa lynx ko kasi..parang confusing nga ang control sa dashboard akala ko noon air exhaust switch tapos kinorrect ko ni panganay..umiinit na pala ang lagay nong rear glass..
