I was able to have the car tinted today at RoadFit. Their service was excellent. The tinting facility is very clean and airconditioned. It gives you the impression that they will take care of your car. I was a bit late but they were very accommodating.

I got the Sunbloc Non Plus for my CR-V with VLT 20. UV and IRR rejection are both 100% The tint installation took about 2 hours since my car doesn't have an old tint on it. So far, the night time visibility is great. I hope it will be sunny tomorrow to test out the heat rejection. [emoji3]

I will update this thread as the time progresses. The tint is still curing anyway.

If you're going to have your car tinted at RoadFit, ask for a demo. They have a demo facility on their tints. I was impressed with the heat rejection.

The image hosting service can't load my images [emoji29]

    I'll try a different host.

VLT 20 wrap around. When I arrived at the shop, there was an everest that also got VLT 20 on the sides and rear. On his windshield, VLT 30. The reason for that is for the auto light sensor.

My light sensor is a bit odd right now. I just need to play with the settings.

Hmmm I'm scheduled for this Sat. Still undecided if I'll go with the VLT 20 wrap around or 35 ws 20 others or 35 wrap around. [emoji848]

Did the everest tint combo look clean even though ws had different VLT?

    How'd it affect your sensor?

You can choose there. I decided there actually. They have samples on their window hehe. Didn't see the fully installed tint on the everest. Starbucks was near the place. [emoji27]

Ask for a demo. They have a demo room just for sunbloc.

Had my 20 VLT tint swapped to Non plus ultra 35 VLT. I regret not doing it sooner, its easy on the eyes and they didn't need to adjust alot when glancing from the 35 VLT windshield then to the 20 VLT driver side windows.

Was choosing between Non Plus and the ultimate but ended with the former since it had a darker color hue, and I found the ultimate to be brighter when paired with my window tint. And according to their specs, the NP had better heat rejection. The ultimate also seemed to be a bit reflective when the sun shone on it. Only catch is the NP costs 7k and the ultimate is 2k cheaper.

Had my viofo a129 duo dashcam installed yesterday but I noticed that I need to move the cameras to better/optimal positions. Since they use 3M VHB adhesive tapes (known to be a pretty strong adhesive for dashcams), how do I remove these from my Sunbloc-tinted windows safely? Anyone who have this done before?

Aside from Sunbloc, Scuff also offers MTA clear ceramic tint. Has anyone tried? Planning to have it installed in my car.

How do they install the tint? Do they use a heat blower for the rear window as in YouTube demos?

    Use imgbb if you can

I think everyone uses heat gun on the tint installation especially for the curved areas of the glass.

Has anyone gotten their tint installed by Pcars Auto Accessories? They offered the cheapest rate amongst the shops I inquired with.

Planning to get the blue Ultimate Ceramic installed on my cars. Is it it really very close to clear?

Recommended ay yung Road Fit sa Banawe for Sunblock. They have samples installed na pwede mong tingnan. Installation ay sa enclosed aircondition room, hindi sa kalye.

I had my Sunbloc tint installed by RoadFit years ago. Maayos pa rin hanggang ngayon.

I went back to Roadfit to have the tint checked kasi may nga bubbles sa 2nd row window and meron isa sa windshield. I was hoping na i-heat gun nila para mawala pero they decided to replace the tint.

I can live with the tiny bubble sa windshield pero they recommended it to be replaced na lang. Medyo nanghihinayang ako nun una kasi nakadikit na yung dashcam ko. Pero naisip ko, nahihirapan ako sa VLT 20 during nighttime.

Since irereplace nila, I asked if pwede gawin lighter yun tint. They agreed and installed a VLT 35 on the windshield. Yun visibility ngayon during nighttime is now better [emoji2]

Even though hassle, yung nangyari, it is for the best. Though it sounds like a shameless plug, I'm still one happy customer sa RoadFit. It takes balls to decide to replace yun tint ah.

PS. Ngayon ko lang nalaman ang Sunbloc is from Korea pala.
