LTO Registration Sticker Question

Hello po mga experts, ask ko lang kung nasubukan nyo po bang tanggalin ung sticker ng LTO registration sa windshield nyo kapag magpapalagay kayo ng tint? Ok lang bang walang sticker sa windshield? Natanong ko na din kasi I saw several cars kanina while driving (nakita ko habang tumitingin sa rear mirror) na walang stickers sa harap..

For the past 2 yrs now hindi ko dinidikit lto sticker sa windshield and hindi naman ako naabala. Though i don't recommend doing the same kasi baka ma tyempuhan kayo.

I don't stick my LTO registration na...since '95 luckily no apprehensions pa naman...but like what the tsikoteer before me posted "it's better to be safe" I just bring along the sticker in my vehicle but of course you have to stick the sticker for the plate...

I always stick the LTO windshield sticker. Better be safe, sabi nga sa itaas....

Hindi rin ako naglalagay ng LTO sticker sa windshield dahil buo ang tint ko sa harap. Hindi pa naman ako nasisita dahil dun kasi tumitingin muna sila sa plaka at pag may sticker ka sa plaka ok na yon, hindi rin kasi kita yung sticker kahit idikit mo sa salamin pag nakapatong sa tint.

Actually sir kumuha ako ng sticker shield (www.stickershield.com) dyan sa True Value Park Square, kaya lang sa time din siguro na nakababad ung car sa araw, parang nagkusot ung sticker sa pagkakababad sa init. Also, plano ko ng magpatint sa windshield para buong na lahat ung tint ng car. I got the car without the tint sa harap, kaya lang kasi kita loob ng car

Here's the loophole on registration stickers:

* The registration stickers for the plate MUST be affixed and may not be transfered. Neglect of both is punishable by law.

* The windshield registration sticker may NOT be transfered as is it punishable by law, BUT there is no law that require us to affix them, only suggestive note on the sticker to install on the lower passenger side of the vehicle.

DISCLAIMER: These information is on a AFAIK basis only. I never installed my own windshield registration stickers since 1994 on any of our vehicles. I just put them with photocopies of my registration inside the vehicle.

My current LTO sticker is the only sticker in my windshield.

before i used to stick it on an acetate film, then have it laminated and slide it on the side of the windshield


now i just kept it together with the registration papers

Matagal na akong bumili nito sir siguro Jan 2008. Makikita mo ito sir sa cashiers.

yup didikit...sobra ngang didikit e na pag tatanggalin mo na yung lumang LTO sticker, e masasama yung tint sa sticker

here is what i do... get a cling wrap (those microwavable ones or freezer wraps). important dito is madikit dapat yung plastic. dito ko dinidikit ang stickers na dapat idikit sa salamin. hindi sya super kapit na tipong meron adhesive, pero madali sya tanggalin. wala pa akong problema sa tint ko.

I've removed my LTO stickers on my windshield, and removed it cleanly, no residue. I plan to remove my 2008 sticker a couple of months after it expires.
