Pure metallic based tint = high heat rejection?

Hi pag pure metallic based tint mataas heat rejection?

Kasi nung 1990s nung uso pa "silver mirror tint" eh napansin ko kahit maaraw eh malamig pa din kotse.

Pag pasok ng year 2000 ang nauso black tint kaso ang init.

Recently nag palit ako ng tint na 3m Black chrome series BC10 (heat rejection at 70%). Mas mataas yung heat rejection nung mga metallic tints nila compared sa mga dark tints at di ganun ka hirap ang visibility sa gabi. Nakaka ilang lang kasi may kahit nasa loob ka malakas din yung reflection ng mga interior panels sa tint.

Hi sir. may sample pic ka nung tsikot mo na na installan mo nung BC10 tint? inoofer din kaya yan ng casa as freebie pag kukuha ng unit?

Reflective nga sa luob ang ganyan tint. Lalo na kung puti ang dashboard, kitang kita sa windshield ang dashboard sa Point of view ng driver. Nakakailang, parang cloudy.

Tapos di pa gagana ang mga easy tag ng NLEX sa ganyan tint. Kelanganmo buksan bintana at ilabas ang tag.

Stainless 10 ng solargard yung tinutukoy mo na for office use. Pinagiisipan ko if try ko sa kotse kasi 75% heat rejection.

Pero pag kotse daw advice nila yung DLN-10 or quantum 14. Sino na nakatry sa inyo eh malamig pa din ba aircon kahit malakas tirik araw?

Not my car pero ganitong ganito. Excellent visibility sa gabi pero di siya totally private, kita pa din silhouette ng driver.

3m BC 10




Gumagana naman epass ko pero pansin ko bumagal pag detect ng GPS signal ng Note 3 ko. Dati mabilis maka lock sa signal. All in all very satisfied sa heat rejection niya. Very noticeable yung nabawas na heat since byahe ko parati is 12pm to 130pm everyday from QC to Alabang. Before naka todo thermostat ko now mga 3/4ths na lang.

Magic tints are really better for heat rejection. Black tints, though IMO mas maporma, are dye based, so their heat rejection pales in comparison to magic tints with metallic properties. Platinum also has super dark magic (BC10) tint.

That 3M BC10 looks very similar to my Vkool K14.

Same feedback, really good heat rejection but aesthetics really doesn't match black tints. I also don't like that I'm partly visible.

In my old car I had black 3M tints which had good rejection also but were very hard to use at night even with HID.

magic tint na 3m okey siya gamit ko sa harap tapos all around manyak tint na..

Its just because of the basic principle that dark colors absorb light instead of reflecting it kaya end result they radiate heat inside the car cabin. Sa offering ng black tints nowadays kung ano ano inilalagay na layer in between to reduce heat absorbption

Out of curiosity lang may nag try na ba ng metallic red na tint? Parang gusto ko lang pagtripan red car and metallic red tint

I have the same question. Jackie of SolarGard Alabang claims the heat rejection is comparable to V-Kool. Any DLN-10 users here?
