    If the wiper motor life is 500hrs (operational), this will be reduced with the bigger load...

    I always do this when the time comes to replace wiper blades, i always get the next bigger size. No issues whatsoever. Mechanical parts always have a factor of safety and parts like this will have at least n = 1.25. A 1 or 2 inch increase in wiper length should not increase forces more than that 25% allowance.

    baka may tamaan.
    you can wet your windshield, and run the wipers. you can easily see the area of wipe. that way, you can get an idea of just how much bigger you may do, without the blade hitting something.
