Hopefully they made it more rigid than the old model because that felt like driving a boat. But at least it wasn't as bad as the Chrysler Sebring which felt like a bouncy castle.

October 17th, 2009 01:25 AM #4Volvo's getting duller and duller on their passenger cars having the same rear for all and now, incorporating that new 'corporate' face which I'm sure we'll be seeing more of. Safety may now become synonymous to dullness.
I can't even sense one bit of excitement on that car.

Actually, I like the design of the XC60 more. It's designed by the same guy who drew the Mercedes-Benz SL Coupe and the S-Class Flagship.
This XC60 exhibits the new design direction of Volvo. The C70 above is just a facelift.
