i have been getting this message over and over for the past three days:
"M54 Powered,
Your account on Automotive Talk * Tsikot has been locked because
someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5
times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15
minutes.
The person trying to log into your account had the following IP
address: (deleted)"
it's always a different IP address - is somebody trying to hack into my account? or are they using my account to hack the system? i thought you admins should know in case it's important...

October 8th, 2005 12:37 PM #4this happens if someone is trying to login and failed 5 times, so its either the owner or iba yung nagtatry makapasok sa isang account... thats the reason why weare all encouraged to use a very hard to remember set of password.

October 8th, 2005 12:45 PM #5you're welcome sir jedi. i have this forum cookied on all my computers, and i haven't had to manually log in or input my password for at least the last two weeks. so it's not me...i also haven't had any trouble whatsoever posting on or accessing the site.
pakisabi na lang if i need to take any precautions.
