Photos on signatures

Ito na naman po ang inyong kasamang Karding sa isa na naman patalastas.

Pwede bang disable ang signature ng member kung multiple ang replies nya sa isang page?

Halimbawa:

Sa isang page, lima ang replies nya. Kada reply nya eh nakikita ang photo ng limang beses din. Nakita na naming once ang photo sa first post mo on the same page, I dont think we need to see it four more times if you have 5 replies. Pwede ding sa isang thread na nag reply ang member, isang beses lang lalabas ang signature nya, sa very first post nya. Malay mo, maka-menos tayo sa server resources.

Nakita ko sa isang website yung ganyang policy nila. Nasasakop na kse masyado ang isang page ng member lalo na kung post whore ito

Good idea... unfortunately, hard to do... most of us use the "quick reply" field at the bottom of the page.

Here, I've disabled my signature, but only by going to the detailed reply page.

Maybe the defaults can be reset to NOT show the signature if the person uses the Quick reply...?

or the least they could do is resize the pics of their sigs. i think there was an existing topic regarding that na before.

On the same page, it's okay... but it makes reloading each page slower.

I think Karding's point is that sigs make reading a topic a bit more tedious. On one of my long term boards, they banned sig pics altogether, as enforcement was difficult.

Mga kapatid, the problem is not HOW TO DO IT.

The problem is the 'willingness' for NOT posting the signatures repeatedly. Kagaya ngayon, I bet you alam naman ng most members na pwede nilang disable ang sig. But do they do it? I dont do it because why bother? Now, kung walang choice ang member but to have the sig disabled by default, eh di pwedeng ma-implement.

If by default, one signature per page or thread, then kahit yung mga member na trip na nakikita ang sig nila eh hindi pa din mag OPT to disable their sig.

Kahit quick reply niky or detailed reply kung alam ng programmer on how to do it, hindi mag appear yon.

I dont want it as an OPTION, I want it by DEFAULT for everyone else and not just me who doesnt wanna see the sig over and over again. Well, one solution is not reading the thread Thats not my option kaya nag suggest ako nito.

Naku..lahat pala halos tayo may sig.
That was one of the suggestions I made sa 4x4ph but the owner decline. So, I decided " if you can't beat them, join them!"

I agree with Kardings suggestion.

sa site namin garapalan ang sig, as big as 320pixels high hehe... although konti lang naman kasi gumagamit...
