Dudes and Dudettes,

I have a simple request.... actually, I have two.

I.

Please refrain from posting messages, especially titles, using SMS shorcuts!!!

First off, its very irritating, not to mention it defeats the purpose of having a decent, structured written language.

Secondly, Tsikot.com isnt really charging us anything right? So why the shortcuts? People who arent really into SMS, like most adults i know, would not appreciate stuff like this. Pity foreigners who lurk our site.... not having a faint idea on what we are trying to put across.

Web-cuts (eg. IMO, BTTT, AFAIK) are totally acceptable since they were in place since time immemorial.

II.

Some people seem to be unable to use the shift or caps-lock button properly....

hOW WoUlD YoU WAnt tO REad A MeSsAGe LiKE THiS?

As much as humanly possible, please use said buttons for their proper purpose. In short, please practice what your grade school teachers taught you, okay?

And remember, netiquette dictates that posting in ALL CAPS is tantamount to shouting! So unless you want to do so, dont! Acronyms are ok to be all-capped.

And do take time out to familiarize yourselves with our EZ Tags. There are alternatives to shouting, like boldfacing and underlining.
A little knowledge goes a long way.

Threads or posts not following said rules will wither be edited or summarily deleted without notification to the poster.

para sa akin ok lang yung "vulgar words" since ganyan din naman tayo mag-usap kapag nagsasama-sama rin tayo diba? hehe... huwag lang siguro yung explicit na hard-hitters tulad ng p i, i-disguise niyo nalang yun kung gusto niyong sabihin
