In line with the yuletide season, the Toyota Auto Club of the Philippines (TACP) has partnered with GMA Channel 7 with their Kapuso: Give a Gift-Alay sa Batang Pinoy Program.

We are appealing to your organization, the Tsikot.com to help out in any way you can. TACP is not in anyway compelling the Tsikot.com members to help out in this project. Any donations for the project will definitely be appreciated. Also, if Tsikot.com as an organization, would want to join the Kapuso: Give a Gift-Alay sa Batang Pinoy Program, just get in touch with me thru PM. I will recommend you guys to the Operations Manager of the Foundation.

Lastly, we would prefer donations in kind rather than giving donations in cash. TACP will not accept donations in cash. If you would donate money to this project, it would appreciated if you go to the Foundation directly.

DETAILS OF THE PROJECT AND HOW TO HELP:

PROJECT TITLE: Give A Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy

NATURE OF OPERATION: Children’s Right Advocacy

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To provide Christmas cheers to indigent Filipino children during Christmas season and promote the intrinsic rights of the child.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1. To make disadvantaged children happy this Christmas season.
2. To promote the intrinsic right of the child by creating awareness and community involvement.
3. To promote the spirit of giving and charity by those who have to those who has none.
4. To provide special intervention to children stricken with life threatening illnesses.
5. To inspire other institution to replicate the project and promoting the rights of the child.

PROJECT FRAMEWORK:

The project focuses on the following:

1. The provision of unexpected intervention to indigent children.
2. Provision of free medical interventions.
3. Provision of Kapuso Package and play opportunity.

PROJECT STRATEGY:

1. To establish partnership with some NGO, Government offices.
2. To invite private corporations for sponsorship of the project.
3. To seek support from the general public of donations for the needed packages for the children beneficiaries.


PROJECT MECHANICS:

1. Starts with the season of “BER MONTH” and culminates during Christmas season.
2. The duration is from September to December.
3. Target all under served sectors of children.

TARGET BENEFICIARIES:

1. Children stricken with cancer.
2. Child Laborers
3. Indigenous kids
4. Malnourished kids
5. Children in conflict areas
6. Children of incarcerated mothers
7. Children with congenital defects
8. Street dwellers (mga mag-anak na nakatira sa kariton)

Give A Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy is the much awaited Christmas project of the GMA Kapuso Foundation. Now on its 7th year, the project focuses on certain neglected sectors of Filipino children.
Give A Gift beneficiaries:
1. Children with Congenital Defects (Baguio, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cebu, Davao, General Santos)
2. Children of Incarcerated mothers
3. Cancer stricken kids
4. Malnourished kids
5. Indigenous kids (Antipolo, Rizal, Quezon, Saranggani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat)
6. Street dwellers (mga mag-anak na nakatira sa kariton)
7. Child Laborers (Antipolo, Rizal, Quezon, Saranggani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat)
8. Children in Conflict Areas (Basilan, Sulu, Tawi - tawi)
Last year, we served 9,800 children nationwide. With your help this year, we aim to serve more. In the spirit of social responsibility and generosity of the Christmas season we are asking your support by way of:
- donating your products
- by providing any of the items/packages needed (see attached package)
- cash donations
- vehicle requirements in our trekking in Antipolo, Rizal, Quezon or in our Distributions (Krismas karavans)

Tsikot.com peeps, thank you for endorsing this outreach to the members of Tsikot.com...any help would certainly be appreciated.

I'd like to clear out lang the fact that if you help out in this project, di lang ito outreach ng TACP, it would be definitely be yours as well, since I would personally ask the Project Manager of the Kapuso Foundation to recognize your efforts kahit man lang yung certificate na naibigay tulad ng sa amin, mabigyan din ang Tsikot.com at marecfognize nilang partner nila. =)

The project manager has also suggested to me to concentrate on donating only one product ie. TOOTHPASTE. I have been soliciting from members of TACP for Hapee Toothpaste Pure White 50ml. which is 14.85 each at Pioneer Center example: 14.85 X 20 (pcs donation of one person) = P297.00 lang. This would already benefit 20 children. As of the mean time, I have collected around 300+ boxes from Vios Club of the Philippines and TACP =) I will give my initial donations on Friday sa Kapuso Foundation. Tuloy-tuloy naman itong Kapuso Foundation until January pa so we have many time to collect all donations =)

thank you for considering the Kapuso Foundation as your own project (tsikot.com's and DC.org's) for the year. I will inform you ahead of time thru this thread regarding the schedule of the Foundation. Currently, they are giving donations to Mindanao so I dont think all the clubs/automotive sites who have expressed their willingness to help could partake in this. Pag nasa metro manila ang bigayan ng donations pwede malamang tayo.=)

the reason perhaps they suggested this is because of uniformity and so that most car clubs/automotive sites can concentrate on a product that could make a difference...so we can fight cavities hihihi =) you guys can gather all donations and coordinate with me anytime =)

as far as I know Happe is a product of Lamoiyan Corp. kaso dunno anyone from there. Have inquired thru TACP and VCP kaso wala pa ring connections. Thank you in advance boss for your donations.=)

i will find a way if i could come to your eb kung ok lang...problem ko lang is that i have to prepare for the Carshow on Saturday sa Sienna. Ako pa naman responsible for presentation ofthe car entries. But I will still find a way...if I really cant, pwede ba tayo mag meeting next week so that I could discuss this thing with you? Hopefully, you will be with other rep's of tsikot and Diesel.org. Hope you can just post up for any feedbacks. Thanks again=)

On behalf of the foundation, Im very much thankful for any help you could give. Just came from channel 7 to give the initial donations. Kahit sobrang traffic papunta at pauwi...it was still worth it.
