    Getting this message when I click in between Tsikot forums. Usually pag PC gamit. But when using Tapatalk, ok Lang. What's up with the site, mga mods and admin?

    Ako nga mula yesterday pa, tapatalk and browser sa phone ko totally ayaw while using mobile data.

    Akala ko nga banned na ako hahaha

    Tried using my wife's phone, naka log in naman ako.

    Now Im on my phone pero naka connect sa wifi ng hotel.

    Sorry paulit ulit ako hehe

    It's a PLDT/Smart thing. Already complained about it yesterday.

    There's a routing loop within PLDT for packets going to tsikot.com

    Ping will result in a TTL expired. Traceroute will show you that the packets to tsikot.com loops between two of PLDT's routers.

    I worked around it by connecting first to a VPN service or use my Globe Tattoo backup link or Globe mobile data plan.

    Is this a temporary concern for Smart subs?

    Internet traffic to tsikot.com passing through PLDT or Smart (same company) are affected. The only way around it for now is to use an ISP other than PLDT/Smart, access tsikot via VPN or a public proxy server.

    I'm sure this is just a temporary set back. The good news is, I haven't encountered a similar issue with any other website beyond tsikot.com.

    Tsikot just happened to be the unlucky victim in all this... kinda like this guy. :D

    So far it's only tsikot.com that's having routing problems this time. But six months ago PLDT/Smart also had a routing problem with Wikipedia. I couldn't access it for two or three days.

    Please, everyone that uses either PLDT or Smart (whichever you get your service from), log a complaint and point out that accessing tsikot.com or its equivalent IP of 74.124.214.116, results in a "No route to host" HTML error due to a routing loop within PLDT's internal routers.

    If we swarm their helpdesk, they're bound to take notice and do something about it.
