Would it be possible that upon registration a new member be directed first to a tsikot page on rules and regulations.

I'm beginning to be irritated on "posters" using text speak!

It should be made before the registration.

You're not the only one getting irritated by newbie members posting in SMS/TXT styles.

Even if they spell the whole words, they still retain the "grammar" style like, "New lang me! Hello lang me!" Makes me want to strangle someone if it would help them learn proper english/tagalog grammar.

Not to mention "Dito na me".

Even if they are directed to an introductory page, people like these will just go over the page without reading it.

+1 to you, -1,000,000 to them who don't read...

And our "BELOVED" Telco's are not helping in any way by even stooping to their level. "ME na ME talaga!" Sheesh!!!!

New members are directed to the rules and regulations pages. At least the last time I checked it was. Sadly, new members either ignore the rules or read 'em but throw it out the window later. Others just ignore reminders given by fellow tsikoteers or mods.

Why do you think I am issuing out infractions to SMS/TXT violators? It gets their attention as good as a hammer on the head.

There are times when I want to do just that. Especially the overly txt/sms spelling AND grammar format posts that are also long and with sentences separated by "..." otherwise its just one continuous sentence. Painful to read.

    ^^

guilty yata ako nito. i've been using and abusing ellipses. my mind is just too flooded with ideas that i could just write ellipses in lieu of the right words.

    sorry.
