I posted a question about where to source eibach springs in the car talk forum because I thought it was appropriate, but I guress it was felt to belong to the detailing forum instead. Not sure why. I thought a question about where to source an automotive item would be appropirite to the car talk forum, as there is no specific "mods" or "performance mods" forum. Didnt seem to be appropriate in a detailing or styling section. Just my two centavos.

    The More Than Looks thread:
Discuss about Auto-Detailing and Styling here. Anything and everything to make your vehicle 'gwapong-gwapo'!

    While the Car Talk is:
General discussion about cars that are not covered by any other forum above. Please avoid threads concerning maintenance, audio, detailing matters and please NO advertisements

I moved the thread, since you were upgrading it for the looks/image aspect not as a serviceable item. Which can also be placed on Workshop forum.

Btw, this kind of topics should be posted on tsikot feedback thread.

Take sometime to browse the subtitles of our forums for your guidelines, so as not to post OT topics anywhere you might think. :D

I knew I was gong to get moved again, but this time appropriately, I guess.
I was asking about where to source Eibach springs. I still think this does not belong to the styling forum. I am considering this to get more responsive handling, looks are secondary.
Also, it was a query to the general public and placed in a forum were it was bound to get more results (because clearly a lot more people check out the car talk forum). True enough, within a few minutes, 3 people responded. Then you moved it to the styling forum were it has languished, thank you.
When a post is not clearly in an inappropriate forum, nor does it clearly belong to another forum, my suggestion is that the moderators give the poster some leeway. Lets not be heavy handed.
May I suggest a "performance" forum where peolple can post about performance mods (intakes, turbos, chips, springs/shocks, exhaust).

I always thought that was what the Workshop was for...

dapat kaya may Modders board? I think it would be better if people went to the local car clubs to ask these questions, as there are more people there who know their cars. :D

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    1. yes, this topic was moved out of CAR TALK since this has nothing to do with cars.

    2. wanting to get more responses by posting threads in the wrong forum is not an excuse for doing it. that is exactly why only a few users linger in the other forums.

    3. the moderator has the PREROGATIVE to move threads to what they think are the proper forum. in this case, yours was moved to the MORE THAN LOOKS forum since there are already precedence (like Ungas posting his suspension mods there).

    4. does moving threads sound like a "heavy handed" action for you? FYI, this is a normal incident as we move, delete, close, merge, rename numerous threads everyday.

    5. your suggestion of a performance forum is already being discussed by the admin and mods.

    aftermarket falls under WORKSHOP forums.

hindi na kailangan ng isa pang forum para sa performance.kasama dapat yan sa WORKSHOP.

To moderators: Question re: Appropriate Forum
