Tsikot.com is inviting everyone to join its OutReach Program and FunRun 2008 event this May 10 for the benefit of the “Little Angels Home, Inc”, a safe haven for abandoned babies and children.

Located at Silang Junction, North Tagaytay City, Little Angels Home, Inc. (LAHI) is accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and development and currently houses up to 24 children from newborns to 10 years old. The center takes care of these children until they are well and fit for adoption through the DSWD. The children are in need of supplies for their basic necessities like food, milk, clothing, elementary school supplies and the like. The center is headed by its directress, SOR Mary Pauline of the Handmaids of the Risen Christ.

The activity will start at several rendezvous points for Tsikoteers to meet and form their convoys to Tagaytay City with picture-taking, eating and fellowship along the way. Lunch will be in Tagaytay. Afterwards, everybody will proceed to LAHI where the kids will be fetched and brought to Picnic Grove for a short program. A special treat of entertainment, games, food and surprises will delight the children.
This year’s activity is envisioned to raise funds from donations and contributions from Tsikoteers here and abroad to be turned over to the center care of Sister Mary Pauline. Hopefully, even if the amount will not be really substantial, it will go a long way in helping meet the needs of these children.

The month of May is supposed to be the time for fiestas, reunions and outings. This month, let us be ‘angels’ by helping these angels from LAHI. An annual activity of Tsikot.com, the summer outreach program and fun run event of the community aims to bond members through an automotive fun run and eyeball, at the same time reaching out to help certain disadvantaged members of the society. Last year, the community raised funds from donations and contributions, bought school supplies, went up to Baguio City and distributed such to the Baguio City underprivileged children care of the City Social Welfare Department. About the Institution:
Located at LAHI Center, Silang Junction, North Tagaytay City. They are accredited by the DSWD and housing as of the moment 24 children from babies up to 10 years old. The LAHI takes care of these children until they are fit for adoption through the DSWD. Some of the children are bought in by their parents to be taken cared of while others were abandoned in hospitals. Some of the children even grew up with them already! "Outreach Programs" and medical missions are most welcome!

Monetary donation na lang po gagawin natin, yung mga nangangasiwa na lang po ng LAHI ang bahala kung saan po nila ilalaan ang perang ibibigay natin.

Aside from that may Bigay Saya din po tayong gagawin para sa mga bata... at the same time for tsikoteers na makapaglaro kasama ng mga kids.
