Ang feeling ng mga staff doon ay utang na loob ng guest ang pag check-in sa kanila. Di na kami babalik sa hotel na yan, kahit kailan. We had worse experience than that.

Don't know anything about Taal Vista but we stayed at Days Hotel when we went to Tagaytay. Pool views overlook Taal Volcano, good rooms/staff/restaurant. Decent rates, too.
When we had our planning session there... ok naman sila (at least sa guests siguro).
Though expect them to be wary kasi maraming labas pasok sa hotel nila (even non hotel guests) because of the view of Taal. That is why they charge high parking fees for non hotel / resto guests.
Madami kasi ang ginagawa is they just park their cars, wander around, snap some pictures and just leave. Hello... they built that hotel for to earn money.
Nag buffet kami 2x dun, ok naman sila... agree ako kay M2, hehe ginastusan nila for hotel patrons, not for free balcony.
That's right. However, considering that they're also in the hotel and tourism industry, they should always be mindful that they're dealing with a potential paying customer. Kahit na parking fees lang ang babayaran ng sightseers sa hotel, customer pa rin sila. Who knows? They may just entice them enough to try the hotel's restaurant or other facilities. A little customer service goes a long way in this business.Originally Posted by theveed
The last time we coordinated a wedding there, they wouldn't allow outside food to be brought inside the hotel, sisingilin ka pa. Major hassle on our part, especially since our bride was trying to feed her suppliers (make-up artist, videographers, photographers) and members of the entourage in her room so that they'll be close by. Alangan namang palabasin pa namin yung mga tao para lang makakain sila. Labo talaga.
Now that is just highway robbery. Masyado namang OA na kapag ganyan.Originally Posted by Bogeyman
bawal magdala ng food? i assume the bride got a room for the makeup/preparation? grabe naman yan..kme nga dun sa hotel room namin mismo pnakain mga hairdressers and makeup artists
dahil din siguro na below the standard wage ang bayad ng may-ari ng taal vista lodge sa kanyang mga employees kaya sila ganyan. walang gana magbigay ng good quality service sa mga customers. ito kasi ang hinaing ng mga employees duon noong huling punta namin diyan last summer. pero OK naman ang service na ibinigay nila sa amin when we stayed there last May.
Magkano buffet nila? Breakfast lunch at dinner ba?Originally Posted by theveed
