do you celebrate valentine's day?

do you do it on the 14th or any other date?

ako kse, im not the type. but my ex-GF wants celebrating it.


sa mga girls - what if your BF/ hubby is not the type celebrating it. how do you feel?


on the side - kapag sa 14th daw ang date yung ang original! yung sa ibang araw yun yung mga extra curriculars! ?

for me Valentine's is just an excuse for restos/flower shops to charge you double the usual price(pasintabi po sa mga shop owners). Then again, love doesn't have to make sense, does it? ;)

That is so true Badkuk......i already bought 3 dozens of flowers from Costco just before they closed down ....they're pretty decent for the price ($14.99 x 3)......tomorrow's gonna be busy so i thought it would be less stress for me....Just have to think of a nice restaurant to go.....might just go to my favorite Mexican or Jap restaurant.

honestly, i think that the day is a big conspiracy between Hallmark and the florists to all make money. but i still celebrate it with my wife - might as well take advantage of the opportunity to make her feel special. also, i don't know about your spouses or GF's, but here it seems like all the girls compare notes on what their men did for them on this day - i can't have her friends make her feel bad because i was such a loser ;)

ako kasi our wedding anniv is a few days before valentine's. so wedding anniv na lang sine-celebrate namin.

speaking of sine...how much is a movie ticket back there? i remember my college days (1992-1996) it was 20 then 25 (my allowance was P2000 a week so i was able to watch a movie with my gf almost every day)......after grad before i left the phils, it was 30 (i think)

depende sa cinema. regular cinemas offer 60-90 pesos pero pag reserved seating it's around 120-150.

Ngayon 2005 ang magandang sine ay nasa P100 to P150. At ang baon ko ay P2000 per week.

Sobrang mura naman ng sine nun? P25 lang??!! Tapos baon mo P2000??! Wala kang yaman ah..hehe

Ayaw ko nakikisabay ng valentines sa 14th mismo..bukas na lang ako makikipag det..!! Tapos masmura pa bulaklak bukas..nyahaha..

reserved seating? you mean you can choose your spot? LOL..that is funny....60-90 pesos seems expensive especially if you're a student.....add food plus gas......

no choice but to celebrate it. at the risk of sounding ***ist pero women LIKE it when we give them flowers, take them to dinner etc etc. even if they say they we dont need to do it, we "have" to kasi in a way they expect to celebrate it(shopping, flowers dinner ect) because i think they get caught up in the overall emotion.

nung college ako yung guys sa barkada namin binibigyan kami ng flowers...sweet nuh?kaya miss ko na sila...hunny ko hindi kami nagcecelebrate mismo ng 14 kasi malamang sabay2 ang mga tao...binigyan naman ako ng card,flowers and snickers!!!hehehe...we'll go out tomorrow... :inlove:
