    Hi Guys!

Since yung isang forum is blocked na sa office ko , may I ask from the tsikoteers yung mga recommended na pwedeng puntahan sa Iloilo? Kahit yung Guimaras would be OK as well.

    Thanks!

Suggesting this. Sorry, I have no idea how to get there by land transport. We visit these islands using jet skis.

SICOGON ISLAND & ISLA DE GIGANTES — ESCAPE JOURNAL

Do not expect "Boracay" like environment however.

    Bacolod ..

I think its quite far (by land) from Iloilo city proper.

sicogon is 3+HRS from Iloilo city, if you can spare a day or two.
guimaras as previously suggested is also great,
or you can go west thru villa, oton, tigbauan, guimbal, miagao, up until san joaquin (abt 60 kms) and check out the laid-back provincial scene, and of course food trip + beaches.

thanks for the link boss. :D

actually, sa Bacolod ang starting point ko (pero 1 day lang ako sa Bacolod; a friend will tour us there), then the next day, ferry going to Iloilo City. (but I will be busy the next few days) hehe

Ah ... ok. I am from Bacolod.

Allow me to suggest a good pastry shop, (aside from Calea). Try Felicia's, right beside L'Fisher Hotel, along Lacson street.

    Have fun ..

thanks for suggesting, but due to time (and maybe budget) constraints, I will just concentrate muna Iloilo city and nearby towns/places.
    --------------

Guimaras as a good place for nature lovers and for beach bums. Just go to Alubijud or Raymens in Nueva Valencia. The best time to go to Iloilo is during dinagyang but hotels are probably fully booked.

White sand beaches, island hopping snokeling. Just don't expect boracay type experience because the beaches are still pristine
