Bacolod City Hotels

Good afternoon to all!

I would like to ask if there's somebody here from Bacolod City?
I'm going to bacolod this last week of May with my office mates for a convention at Goldenfield Commercial Complex. Does anybody here can guide me to find a nice hotel to stay? Would be better if just near or walking distance to the complex. Price range per room is P2000. I will appreciate Sir if you can give a short description of the hotel.

Might be staying here on my next Bacolod trip. Last time i went, i stayed at Business Inn and it was okay also.

I'm from Bacolod but Manila based already. Although I stay at my folks' whenever I visit, I found out that relatives who visit from abroad usually refer to this site: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g2...as-Hotels.html.

You might find the site useful as it contains the most recent reviews, rates, locations of the various hotels in the city.

Btw, most of the hotels listed in Trip Advisor are about 2-3 kms away from Goldenfield. The ones in Goldenfield are Kundutel which I wouldn't recommend, and Casino Filipino which might be out of your P2000 price range (not sure, you could check the web site).

The one nearest to Goldenfield would be Sugarland Hotel. Rates would be around 2-3K.

kung walking distance lang sa goldenfield,
1.sa hotel nung casino(forgot the name) no experience there yet.
2.kundutel; last time i was there(07) ok naman sya. malinis.
3.Sugarland Hotel medyo konting lakad. 08 yata huling kong punta dun. okay din sya.
afair, pasok naman yung 2K mo na budget mo for the last two. mas madalas lang ako mag stay sa Sugarland kasi mas medyo okay breakfast nila kesa sa kundute. hth
