Next week kasi pupunta kaming Seattle, WA for a short trip. Ano ano po ba ang puwede kong mapuntahan doon aside from Microsoft HQ sa Redmond? Sana mga pinoy and asian stuffs.

Isa pa ay sa Vancouver, B.C. may plan din kami for a long drive. Ang naiisip pa lang naming puntahan ay goldilocks/chinatown/and robson street shopping ba iyon?

Any other suggestions to visit sa Seattle/Vancouver area?

    Tenk yu.

from vancouver, u can drive 1 hour to north van grouse mountain, they have snow pa dun, then if u want another hour to whistler, one of the best ski resorts in the world even if u don't go skiing, the view is beautiful. u can go to richmond, mini chinatown, dami minimalls n chinese babes to see. downtown robson should be cool now ksi spring na so gimik places n chicks at night. just walk around. u can go to kitsilano, an area close to the beach, just take broadway go west n ul hit it na. vancouver is my retirement city. nothing beats it at spring n summer. happy trip.

it's mostly rainy daw now sa vancouver. just talked to somebody earlier today. pero ok lang naman kahit umuulan, di naman todo buhos gaya dito. wala ding payong payong mga tao dun usually.
maganda ang vancouver if you're the outdoorsy type, camping, etc.

definitely plan a trip up whistler. kahit nangangatog ka sa lamig e sarap ng feeling.

    other places to go to...
Capilano, they have this long suspension bridge na hit sa mga tourists.
Stanley Park, try mo lakarin end to end. nilakad namin and nobody was talking when we got to the bus. hehe

In Vancouver, its nice and fun to go biking at Stanley PArk. You can rent bikes from the shops in the vicinity. Drive also to Cultus Lake, Capilano, Whistler, and take the ferry to Vancouver Island (Buchart (?) Gardens), etc...

In Seattle, there's also Boeing Field. Nice and intersting place.

just something i've learned from traveling extensively:

if you are on a short trip, DON'T plan to go to far away places. imo lang, but you will be too rushed that you won't enjoy either Seattle or Vancouver, not to mention the time wasted traveling.

if i had a choice between the two, i'd pick vancouver, for all the reasons that the other guys mentioned.

seattle is kind of wet and dreary, but if you have to go there, check out the space needle and the nightspots, especially the live music clubs (remember that seattle was essentially the birthplace of modern alternative rock...ok, that's debatable). also, catching an NBA game is a must-do for the sports-loving pinoy.

finally, i would encourage you to try some new and unfamiliar things/cultures. all the pinoy stuff here (like Goldilocks) is not as good as back home anyway, and you have the real thing 365 days a year anyway when you're not on vacation.
