hotel/pension houses near ortigas area

a group of my buddies will be visiting for a few days from out of town within the week. me ma recommend ba kayong cheap living quarters, preferrably near galleria?

how cheap?

local rates for hotels like Richmonde, Discovery, etc is usually around 2K/night. Good rooms and walking distance to malls/restos.

OK din sa Legend (Pioneer), parang townhouse, slightly cheaper mga 1800 ata.

try robinson's apartelle (63+2) 631-7331, (63+2) 635-5983 - they are located besides robinson's pioneer though.

the nearest hotel to galleria is holiday inn - rooms rates go for as low as P2K/night (AFAIR) during off-season / weekday stays.

Maganda sa Holiday Inn, malaki ang rooms and connected directly to Robinson's Galleria.

BIG downside lang is they'll try to worm their way out of your reservation. Some months before our wedding, nagpa-reserve kami ng dalawang family rooms dyan. Tapos nung magche-check in na kami, they were trying to give us studio-type rooms instead. After an hour of insisting on our reservation, binigay din nila yung family rooms.

Oks dun sa Legend or dun sa Richmonde na sinabi ni Boss Theveed. We had visitors who stayed at those places in the past (on separate times/occasions). Maganda naman ang feedbak nila.

pwede rin sa linden suites... may mga suites sila with 2 rooms each, kitchen and a living room. very spacious!
