how do you surprise your friend on his/ her birthday?

nung ginawan ako ng surprise party ng misis ko,
ganito ginawa niya,

she made sure na siya ang magsusundo sa akin.sa office,
then punta sa parents ko kasi ang alam kong plan is to dine lang with my family.

ok, late lang naman siya ng 2 hours, im fuming mad, of all dates pa siya late, ngayong bday ko!!! he..he

tapos sabay sundo sa parents ko, at may nasagi pang motorsiklo (mukhang hindi kasama sa plano) nevertheless, sabay banat, "may naiwan ako sa bahay!!! ANO NA NAMAN YUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
"makeup kit ko" or something to that effect, sabay sige na nga tutal late ka na rin. pagkauwi namin sa bahay nandun na lahat ng bisita, may pagkain na, may balloons pa,

nag-setup kami ng party para sa officemate namin dati..
yung bf nya yung nag-organize..
potluck lang yung party..

niyaya sya sa isang function room..
dun naka-set lahat..
with a large poster and balloons..
na-surprise naman sya.

ang ku-cute naman nyan... hehe... actually, hindi ko alam favorite nya eh... and hindi ko din gaano kakilala friends nya so parang problema ko magpa surprise party...

he's more of a serious type of person, med student, mahilig sa game cube, minsan lang gumimmick... hmm, ano pa ba? yun lang eh...

I enjoy surprises so I'd be glad to share some advice, hope I'd be of help...

i guess the thing here is to do something out of the ordinary...
something that the person isn't accustomed to...

If the person is used to fine dining or the like maybe a "kiddie party" in Mcdo would be fun complete with the works (puppet show and the like)

So what if other people with find it "baduy" ... after seeing how much the person appreciated the gesture it would all seem worth it

try to notice kung ano ang mga kwento nya sayo...like...kung nasa mall kayo..may itinuro sya...or may lagi syang sinasabi like uyyyy ang ganda nung shoes na yun...or...ang cute naman nung dress or kahit na anong alam mong gusto nya bilhin pero di nya mabili...like uyyyy ang kewl ng ericson P800...heheheh problema mo na yun....nyhhahahaha

i agree with kikomonster, iregalo mo kung ano yung most wanted thing niya(assuming he/she is your very close friend and budget is not an issue) tapos dalhin mo siya sa restaurant na hindi niya pa napupuntahan...

kikomonster, chieffy, yun nga po problem ko, hindi sya vocal about what he likes or maybe meron na sya kung ano man ang gusto nya... ang hirap ah! :question:

mazdamazda, nagawa ko na yung balloon thing. tinalian ko ng balloons yung kotse nya all over, from the side mirrors, wipers, mags, to plate number... i was so glad at nasurprise naman sya after his last class pagdating nya sa parking... at nakatago naman ako sa likod ng puno, sabay tawag sya sakin...

GlennSter, i have a cheap suggestion (i've already done this, kakahiya nga lang while doing), before siguro the "kiddie party", try to mess out with her car by putting a lot of masking tape saying "happy birthday" all over... syempre be sure she's not around while doing the job... sana hindi nga lang sya magalit...

OTEP, ah october pa ba? hehe... sino naman yung sinasabi mong kilala mo ha? hindi ako marunong mag guitara for harana eh...

lagi mo sya sinu-surprise ng gifts sa birthday nya....make her surprised more this time by giving her nothing. ako segurado na masusurprise talaga sya. :confused:

sinurprise ako dati ng friends ko, ginicng nila ako ng exactly 12mn b4 my birthday, there were about 20 pipol looking at me wen i opened my eyes, grabe baka naglalaway pa ko nun.hehehe they brought pizza, cake, baloons, drinks, i was very happy then!
