"Raon" district in Taipei / Taichong??

Sa mga tsikoteers who's based in Taipei or Taichong right now... may "Raon" district ba sa taipei or taichong? I'm hoping that mayroon don.. I'm specifically looking for retail shops ng mga typical electrical (industrial type) components - DC motors w/ rotary encoders, servo motor, DC gear motors and the like.. pati na mga frequency inverters...

I'm trying to find a fall back supplier kasi just in case may mga components na medyo pahirapan ang pag source dito sa manila... i'll be flying off to taipei next week to pickup some parts for a machine that we purchased from them a few years ago ( di namin pina ship to manila since medyo duda kami na baka mali yng ipadala na piyesa)...

Wowiesy, saan ang hotel mo sa Taipei?

Ang "Raon" district sa Taipei area ay malapit sa "Xi Minding" area and at 3 blocks away sa "Presidential Palace"

If you will go to the Taipei Train station, katapat nya ay ang ShingKong Tower at sa right side nya ay may street (McDonald), just follow that street. If you will going to take a walk from McDonald to the "Raon" area, tumbukin mo lang ang daan na ito at siguradong babagsak sa Raon area ng Taipei, dahil once na nandoon ka na at napapaligiran ka na ng mga electronic shop. Also, beside Shinkong Tower is "NOVA" (electronic & computer store), there are some store in this building that sells spare parts.

Some of the shop here employ some of our kababayan as translator to fellow OFW sa Taiwan.

i'm looking more towards industrial electronics... contactors, plcs, industrial limit switches, etc... thanks... will try to check it out.. havent' booked a hotel .... will do today...

TWTC, katabi lang niya yung Taipei 101 (madali lng makita ito) lahat ng hinahanap nyo andito na, plus, daming free business cards ,brochures & flyers sa 2nd to 4th floor..(free din ang entrance dito)

sa may main entrance, may isang bookstore dun..may benta silang (parang business yellow pages na english version)..andun na rin lahat ng contact numbers ng mga company..

kung nagkataon pang may show..sarap din mag-ikot-ikot din sa loob..(ubos yung buong araw mo sa loob sa laki ng venue)..dami mong matutunan.dami mong makikitang bagong products na wala pa sa market..kailangan mo lang mag-present/iwan ng business card (fill out the registration form).free entrance ka na..

pero, may ibang mga shows..may bayad. depende sa mga shows..$100NT to $300NT..

Kung hinahanap mo rin yung "Red Light District"..PM ko na lang sayo..LOL J/K

mga what time kaya ang closing nila? m now here in taipei... wasnt able to go around since medyo late na ako sinipot ng kausap ko.. n ngayon lang ako nalibre... or mag night market na lang ako...

i went to the place and i had a different idea... ang inabutan ko is a line of shopes selling A/V equipment.. digital cameras.. .. in a way... parang raon nga... but what i was really looking for was yng mga spare parts like fuses, switches.. pero pang industrial.. relays, contactors, motor controllers..

i'm now back here at hotel and m not sure if there will still be time to try other places..

sa chungli alam ko, pero mga maliitang motors, basic electronics, steeper motors, ICs, LEDs, and other item sa electronics project and tools,

sa taipei yung mga consumer electronics lang ang nakikita ko...

meron akong nakita sa taipei Guang Hua Guang Chang under an overpass pero i think tinanggal na yung overpass, kaya wala na ako alam saan na sila nakapwesto ngayun...
