go to mines view, SM baguio, palengke, session road, camp john hay, drive around, enjoy clean air, sleep, go out & get drunk (nevada square, cactus bar & 18BC in legarda) hehehe
Dont drive, just take a taxi going around.cheap and convenient.Very hard to find parking space in the city on weekends.
may coding dyan around the session road area. basically nasabi na nila yun mga pasyalan dyan. I would suggest that you visit Balatoc Mines and take the guided tour into the mines onboard the underground train. This is where you will experience first hand how to become a miner (complete attire ka pa helmets, headlamps, boots, etc.) If I can still remember it right mga 10-15 minutes lang yan from the PMA gates. madadaanan mo din yun campsite ng BSP dun.
Get drunk every night ... heck, I did that for 10 years or something. Can't be sure because of this hangover for the last few years.Originally Posted by OTEP

- Ibay's the best silvershop in Baguio.
- Saturday lunch time sa PMA at wag ibang araw at ibang time.
i missed the old John Hay
I'll be in Baguio from Oct. 15-26.
true... parking space here can get very scarce. however you don't have to pay the maroon boys as they have a problem with the city mayor here. there's a standing order by the city mayor not to pay any parking fee until maayos yong legal problem nila. if you tell them na wag ka ng singiling, they won;t insist naman. what i do is sometimes just to give them P5 or P10 for guiding me when i'm parking.Originally Posted by erict
as for coding naman, it is enforced here the way it is enforced there in manila. plates ending in 1-2/monday, 3-4/tuesday, 5-6/wednesday, 7-8/thursday, 9-0/friday. however, coding is not whole day only from 7-10 am and 3-7pm. so 10am to 3pm is no coding anywhere in the city. you can get exemption (fee i think is P300) if you can show proof that you're a tourist visiting the city.
I too miss the old baguio!
hope this helps.
John Hay is still the best...no traffic, pollution, no parking problem, safe and secure...visit Diner's Filling Station...for Hotshots Burgers and Good Figaro coffee...great outdoor siting area.....Originally Posted by erict
I miss the old Baguio.
Wala pa yang mga mataas na buildings. Wala pa yang mga langgam na estudyante. When you open your bedroom window, amoy mo ang pine. Malamig pa. May tubig pa nuon tuwing bubuksan mo gripo. Wala pang traffic - the drivers were courteous.
