swimming pool maintenance?

ask ko lang if anybody here has any info. regarding pool maintenance.

we just got this house na may pool... bare lang sya and we just had it tiled. as for any other stuff, I'm afraid wala na kaming alam.

yung isang nakausap namin medyo "harang" and if we ask anything bordering on the technical, he gives us a generic "its a trade secret" answer.

so I don't know what to get, what to buy, the cycle of maintenance, the basics..

I need help.

Ok. Kayang linisin yan. Last 2001, bumili ng "mobile" pool filter yung nanay ko. Around 100K yata yung buong package noon. Kasama na yung motor, filter tank, pvc hoses, cleaning brushes, PVC pipes, 1 sack of DE powder(eto yung nagfifilter mismo), 5 gallons na muriatic acid(eto yung nagpapalinaw ng tubig at nagtatanggal ng "green" or parang lumot), isang maliit na drum ng chlorine(para medyo safe daw yung tubig in-case na makainom) at yung stainless cart na pinaglalagyan ng motor at filter tank.

I think no need na to change the water basta't regular ang pag-filter. PM ko sa iyo yung number ng supplier bukas. May home service/delivery din sila.

Based on expierence lang po ah, pareho po. Hinahalo po siya sa tubig pero mga 1-2 cups lang depende sa size ng pool. Yan ang nagbibigay ng clarity ng tubig. Ginagamit ding panglinis ng tiles kapag completely dried ang pool habang nagpapatch uli ang grout.

Yup. Chances are your favorite pool/resort uses one. Unless their water supply is endless.

Sa Bulacan, Muriatic din ang gamit namin.

Kaya pala mahapdi ang mga singit nung huling batch na nag-swimming.

Seriously, ginagamit talaga muriatic lalo na kung hindi maganda water quality sa area niyo.
