sabi sa inquirer... proclamation number 880 per metro manila lang.... para raw makinig ang filipinos sa SONA at be involved in the affairs of the state.

panun yun outside metro manila? di ba sila dapat makinig ng SONA at maging involved din the affairs ng state?

heto ang sabi sa breaking news:

MALACAŅANG has declared Monday, July 25, a special non-working day in Metro Manila.
Monday is the opening of the second regular session of Congress. In Proc No. 880, Exec Sec Eduardo Ermita said the day was declared a non-working day "to encourage and give opportunity to Filipinos to listen to the State of the Nation of PGMA.

    ---------------------

    si Lacson nag-SONA na kanina.
nag-promote naman si PGMA yesterday ng mga PNP Generals para patuloy maging loyal sa kanya.

Confirm na from INQ7.net here's the complete news flash.

Palace: Monday a non-working day in Metro Manila

First posted 02:14pm (Mla time) July 22, 2005
    Inquirer News Service, INQ7.net

(UPDATE) MONDAY, July 25, is a special non-working day in Metro Manila, Malacaņang announced Friday.

The declaration, contained in Proclamation 880 that Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita signed "is encouraging and giving opportunities to Filipinos to listen to the address of the President [Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo] and be involved in the affairs of the country."

The proclamation however "does not cover employees of government departments, offices, agencies and instrumentalities providing police, security, fire protection, custodial, rescue, emergency, medical, and other similar services."

The Department of Labor will issue the guidelines for the proclamation.
Ms Arroyo will deliver her State of the Nation Address at 4 p.m. during a joint session of Congress at the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City amid organized protests by groups who want her out of Malacaņang.
