Condo/hotel near UST for overnight stay

meron ba kyo ma recommend na condo/hotel near ust area? Mag entrance exam anak ko sa sunday, and hanap kami ng pde mag check in para malapit lang and less stress sa anak ko

There arent any decent hotels within walking distance from ust that I know of. Your best chance is probably malate area or manila hotel.

I remember I walked from nagtahan bridge to ust just to take the test. Well I passed.

The only Inn I know near UST is Fersal which is just a few blocks away.

Back of SM San Lazaro is a hotel. Forgot the name. Bago lang ito and big hotel.

Avoid Fersal. Parang apartelle lang ito, dirty linens etc. a relative tried checking in nung may patient sila confined sa UST.

i appreciate your concerns.
but in my opinion, you don't really need it.
unless your residence is hideously far from ust, perhaps you can just go to bed earlier than usual, and get up earlier than usual and go to ust. taxi, car, or public trans.

in my opinion, doing condotel just prior to exam day is akin to wearing a brand new pair of shoes to the olympics.

Dati nagtanong ako sa mga bording house doon sa Eloisa street kung pwede ako makistay for overnight and pumayag naman sila pero medyo nakakabaliw kasi for female bording house yung napagtanungan ko kaya sa bedspacer na may takip na kurtina nila ako pinatulog.

hmmm. san ka mangagaling? maluwag ang papunta ng USTe pag linggo.
pero kung talagang kalayuan ka (from the provice, batangas or laguna areas), best thing to do is to rent a place in hotels in roxas boulevard. kaya lang weekend. most of them could be fully booked.

so how was the exam daw, po?
if the kid did not finish the exam, might i consuelize that some entrance exams are not really designed to be answered completely, within the time alloted. part of the exam is to gauge the examinee's time management skills.
