Patulong lang sana ako. Yung clutch fluid ba ay natural na nauubos and needs refilling every few months? Ganun kasi sa akin although wala namang noticeable leaks (the underside of the reservoir has always been clean and dry and the garage floor is free of any leak pools).

About three months ago the clutch pedal suddenly wouldn't come up. Pagtingin ko ubos na pala yung clutch fluid which I promptly topped off with brake fluid to max. Then yesterday going up mula sa basement parking biglang tumigil na lang yung paje sa gitna ng incline, then I started descending backwards. I retried going up thrice di niya talaga kaya (pero sa level surface tumatakbo naman). Akala ko baka ubos na clutch lining ko but then I know if that's the case manginginig when thrown into gear from standstill. So I looked at my reservoir again and there you have it - ubos na naman - to my puzzlement.

yung secondary ang nag le-leak jan. kasi may rubber na cover yun kaya ndi mo kita na nag le-leak. try mo sumuot sa ilalim at silipin kung puno na ng fluid iyon na naipon sa loob na lumabas sa gasket.

pag wala i might be the master nag le-leak na sa carpet mo try to check din sa loob ng cabin.

    cguradong may leak yan.

Yup, it's a leak in the clutch slave cylinder which is usually beside the transmission. You only need a repair kit for this. Might as well do the master cylinder repair kit too.

How old is the pajero and how many kms travelled when this clutch fluid problem started?

Pwede rin sa master... try inspecting the upper portion of your pedal. If it has drops of fluid, then that might be it.

The Master repair kit costs P350 replacement. 1700+ for orig.

Nag-leak na yung slave nung sakin.

Replacement (Japanese) part costs Php 150.00 sa Richmaster Pantranco. Labor for the install was Php 200.00. Not bad.

To know if ubos na ang lining, park on a level surface. Shift into fifth then gradually release the clutch. If engine does not die even with clutch fully released, sliding clutch na iyon.

Thanks for all your inputs! Master nga (sa ilalim ng carpet yung lahat ng clutch fluid) and secondary (with the rubber cover lifted lakas ng tagas). That's a very helpful technique sir Otep. Subukan ko yun maya-maya as soon as the repairs are done.
