di ba ang water pump kung di naman sira di dapat palitan? bakit tuwing may magre-recommend ng timing belt replacement eh sinasabi isabay yung water pump?
Mahal ang water pump, kung di naman sira eh bakit papalitan? Di ba parang yung gasket lang ng water pump or something like that ang dapat palitan not necessarily the whole pump?
timing belt job:
- t. belt (ofcourse)
- balancer belt (if any)
- tensioner bearing
- balancer bearing (if any)
- camshaft & crankshaft oil seal
- water pump (optional and if located on same spot with timing belt wherein you need to remove the timing belt to access the pump... i.e. on civics and mazda familia)
- engine support timing belt side (replace if cracked)
- drive or fan belts (optional specially if cracked)
clutch job:
- clutch disk
- pressure plate
- release bearing
- drive shaft (or axle) oil seal
- rear crankshaft oil seal (optional)
- transmission support ( if cracked)
bossing artpogi, you don't wait for the water pump na masira bago palitan dahil overheat ang mangyayari. part yan ng preventive maintenance although sa mga corolla at ibang brands na ang water pump ay nasa labas ng engine (meaning hindi kasama doon sa timing belt location) ay madaling malaman kung may problema na sa water pump. anyway, pwede naman idelay ang water pump yun lang bayad ka ulit ng labor na ang bayad ay pang timing belt job kapag katulad ng civic at familia. masama nyan ay baka mag-overheat engine bago malaman na may problema ang water pump... it's too late if that will happen.
