engine sound lessen when pressing clutch

ask ko lang po sa mga tsikooters na naka 4d56n/a and intercooler turbo na observe niyo po ba yung makina niyo kasi po sa akin when im parking in the gate when i press the clutch the engine sound is lessen and kapag i depress the clutch the sound becomes audioble,,kasi po yung 4d56 namin mas tumatahimik yung tunog kapag naka clutch pero infairness po tahimik talaga makina na 4d56 compare to others akala nga po nung iba gasolina yung adventure namin dahil wala masyado ingay eh..

sir the sound happen when im in a neutral and parked position basta i just apply cutch lessen the sound depress it comes back

nawawala siguro yung chatter ng clutch since it is engaged.

Release bearing ng clutch ang problema pag ganyan. Pero hindi practical na ipa-baba mo yung clutch just to replace the release bearing only. As long as di ka binibigyan ng problema nung clutch hayaan mo na lang and most important your clutch is functioning well.

pero bago pa lang po yung kotse matagal na po yun 2003 pa po namin na observe yun tapos binalik po namin sa casa dahil underwarranty pa po sabi nila normal lang daw yun??

kung nalusong mo sa baha yung ride mo sir, may possibility na maingay na yung release bearing.

hintayin mo na lang maupod o magpalit ng clutch para pag nagpalit, isabay mo na rin palitan yung release bearing... checkup mo na rin yung pressure plate & flywheel.

sir no offense po pero sometimes driving habits could also cause that. tama po si sir jcastillo932 as long as ala pang problem wag muna nyo ipagalaw, gagastos lang kayo, pudpudin nyo muna yun clutch. Add on ko din po pa check nyo din yun pilot bearing pag nagpalit kayo ng clutch.

release bearing nga yan. my advice is crank up the volume of you radio nalang...hehehehe. di ka naman titirik niyan. like what the previous posters have said, isabay nalang sa pagbaba ng clutch system.

ganyan din po prob ng 02 SS Dsl M/T namin, we tried replacing the clutch disc and release bearing and pressure plate all at the same time twice na po with a span of only 3 mos. kse maingay talga, sabi nung mekaniko namin sa shifter daw dun sa transmission, but it wil do no harm naman so as per suggestion ng fellow tsikoters natin eh wait mo na lng til magpalit ka ng clutch and try to mention din ung shifter sa transmission.

If you also try to engaged the shift lever abit without depressing the clutch the ratling sound will disappear, its been a year now ayun di pa kami nagpapalit ng clutch kaya maingay pa din.

by the way ung pinalit namin na release bearing eh pareho NTN, nd ung Clutch disc po eh DAiken

Inform ko kayo pag nagpalit na kami ng clutch and kung ung suspected nga na shifter ung cause nung ratling sound

I have the same observation on my Dmax. Ok, what particular (bad?) driving habits can cause this? Will keeping your foot rested on the clutch cause this? At least we will know so as not to worsen the problem.

fafa afrasay, maybe you have some inputs from your off-roading experience like going through water, mud; can these cause damage to the release bearing?
