Do you double clutch?

Sometimes I have this habit of downshifting a lot to provide better engine braking, and I want it smooth it's like an automatic transmission. Sometimes it gives me some sort of amusement to my ears when I hear the engine braking revs.

Am I not alone in this bothersome, work-a-lot downshift habits?

I rarely double clutch in this day and age of fully synchronized transmissions.

i only use this double clutch when i can't seem to put into right gear, say i wanted to downshift, i blip the throttle then step on the clutch twice.

irerelease yung clutch? pagpalapit na ko ng Toll booth sa Nlex from neutral to engine

hahaha, I can relate to that. expecially the reverse
double-clutch pala iyon, akala rev-match. I usually do it before entering the turn para smoother and downshift and faster exit on the turn.

may nag do-double clutch ba ng 5th gear to 4th or 6th to 5th? hehehe

kaya dapat alam mo ang engine speed (rpm) which properly matches your effective downshift point or gear. Kapag hindi ka naman nag 'blip' ng throttle tapos your're trying to double clutch, useless din at hirap ang makina or hindi smooth and engagement.

isn't double clutching supposed to be used only when downshifting? naalala ko tuloy si Vin Diesel sa Fast and the Furious.
