have you distinguished if it is engine lacking torque or transmission is not downshifting? try shifting manually to 2 going uphill and gun it then shift manually to D and see. is the engine blowing smoke? try taking off on L the manually shift to 2 then to D and feel for upshift. this aisan warner transmission you have is not fully electronic, it should shift as manually selected to a particular gear.
