Can you recommend performance upgrades for our stock manual transmissions for better performance esp. in off-roading?

    Mga magkano kaya ang cost?

Are Centerforce clutches worth the price?

    Thanks.

A decent oem clutch will be fine. Don't spend on a centerforce if there has not been any significant increase in hp to your motor or if you haven't increased tire width and diameter by a whole lot. (large tires put additional load on your clutch kasi) It isn't worth the price in this respect. Further, If you take your vehicle through river crossings, the clutch gets unavoidably wet. This shortens the life of the clutch so why spend on a centerforce when it will prematurely wear out from being water logged or coated in mud. Just my 2 cents

so kung lagi kang nalulublob sa tubig, better stick with cheaper clutch coz you'll have to replace them in a short while. am i right?

you are right! besides, bumibigay ba clutch niyo pag nababasa? mine doesn't. sa tranny siguro, pinakamura is alagaan mo sa oil since it gets water logged.

you can get the centerforce pressure plate and use the oem clutch. this will save you money since you only replace the clutch more than the pressure plate.

you can get the centerforce pressure plate and use the oem clutch. this will save you money since you only replace the clutch more than the pressure plate. what you neeed is clamping power that the stock pressure plate can not give you, you also need it to transfer more power to the wheels.

That's the same thing we're thinking about in the LC80, medyo mahina yung OEM clutch so getting an upgraded one can help. Where usually can one find aftermarket clutches for 4x4's locally?

no matics for me. masyado sensitive ang matic to dramatic changes in tire size. pag auto tranny automatic din na regear pag nagpalaki ng gulong.

Balik mo sa Casa kung warranty pa yan. Bago pa unit mo para magkaroon ng ganyan problema.

IMO lang you dont need to re gear pag automatic unlike sa manual. the torque converter will ack as a torque multiplier, the engine will not lug compared to manual trans equipped vehicles. your engine will have no difficulty in turning those tires if you use automatic. the slippage will allow the engine to rev higher near the torque band. in manual transmission if you rev high to compensate for the big tires from a stop you will be slipping the clutch which will prematurely break it, or madaling ma pudpud.

Actually, dapat matic si bubbles kaya lang dapat pag shift to drive may tulak na yung engine pero on 35's parang naka neutral pa din. checked everything walang problema. di na halos makaakyat ng tulay (engine ok pero napakataas ng revs) and gas consumption... need i say more.

re gear pag di na kaya pero kung kaya pa bakit pa.

The LC80's ive used seem to be heading to the casa earlier then expected for clutch changes (drag, damaged release bearings, etc)... I've counted three so far with less then 45K on the odo. When i drive them, i keep in mind of takin a little more time/care in releasing the clutch when i shift at high RPM's during fast acceleration for if it's released suddenly, i can feel the jolt or "bang" of the engine power/torque on the clutch.
