Question on A/T

Is it normal when in an uphill climb (say mga 20 degrees), you stop on D4 then when release the brakes to take-off, umaatras yung car before stepping on the accelerator? Same thing happens when on R. But this only happens when in a steep climb. Thanks in advance.

marami nako namaneho na matic pero wla pko na experience na ganyan umuurong pag nka D4.dapat bro di aatras yan.yan nga ang isang gusto ko s matic lalo na pag traffic s akyatin kc wla ka worry na maatrasan yun kasunod mo.

my A/T car never backed down even when I release my foot from the brakes....

depends....alam ko ang 1.6L cars tuned sa inclined na hindi aatras pero hindi aabante...kylangan mo segundahan ng silinyador parang umabante...

sa mga 2.0L^ alam ko pag tinganggal mo paa mo sa preno...aandar pa paabante yun.
yung 626 AT ko dati kahit saan pa...basta pag tinanggal mo paa mo sa preno aabante...kahit matarik pa yung lugar.

may factors dyan:

weight ng car, weight carrying by the car(you and your passengers plus cargo), gearing, power of the engine...

if this happends, dont release the brakes, it will stress-out your a/t which can lead to costly repairs...

I'm not so sure lang sa 20 degress, pero sa mga incline na around 40-45 degrees uphill, from full stop then brake release, mayroong konting atras yung matic until you get to step sa gas.
