96 Civic vti :Knocking sounds when shifting gears

Sir help naman...

1. May knocking sound po ako na naririnig when shifting gears. Nangyayari din po ito minsan pag nakabreak ako then magbibigay ng gas. Medyo irritating po kase.


2. Mga gano po kaya katagal ang lifespan ng primary/secondary clutch cylinder/repair kit ng honda civic? nasa 89km na po kase ang milage ko and up to now wala pa naman problem. Nde pa po ako nagpapalit ever since.

Check your tranny fluid level. Do this right away your bearing needs oil.

try mo gawin ito,patakbuhin mo yung kotse mo about 15 to 20 kph or mas mabagal and then slightly accelerate and then decelerate kaagad when you hear the clunking noise,uulit ulitin mo and kung maririnig mo yung clunk na sinasabi mo during acceleration and deceleration,higpitan mo yung axle shaft nut.try mo muna ito bago mo ipagawa ang transmission.

could also be a problem with the engine supports. if there is too much play then it will really result in that noise.

Not much play naman sir. Upon listening closely, parang sa mga sides nangangaling ang mga sounds? Meron po ba support ang tranny? Baka po dun galing ung sound

yes may support dun. and 2 lower supports on either side of the engine too. so 5 all in all.
