Pansin ko kasi lumalim yung clutch pedal eh.
also this happened last night, nag maniobra ako kagabi, umatras ako tapos nung aabante na ako, biglang hindi ko ma-shift yung shift stick, as in stuck sya, pero nakatapak ako sa clutch. hmmm..... then after a few minutes naikambyo ko din.
right now okay na naman clutch ko, except for the pedal na lumalim.
as a temporary solution lang, paki post naman step-by-step adjustment ng clutch pedal, by the way the car is Lancer GLXi 97.
TIA

May 5th, 2004 03:38 AM #2it might not be as simple as adjusting the clutch. baka sira na master mo kaya no more fluid can flow. in any case there should be a screw behind the clutch pedal which can be adjusted to move the play earlier or later

May 5th, 2004 02:26 PM #4try checking fluid level sa clutch reservoir mo... baka low na. if it is, meron kang leak somewhere that causes ur clutch fluid to get low... thus having difficulty in shifting

May 7th, 2004 12:12 PM #5matigas or anything unusual (sobrang lambot) would mean either may tubig or hangin (air bubbles) na natrap sa linya.
bleeding the fluid or replacing the fluid could be needed.
At worst, tulad ng sinabi above, may diprensya ang master or secondary hydraulic mechanism or barado ang linya.

na bleed na namin kahapon bumalik ulit ang problema ngayon
no visible signs of leak from the master or the slave.
We will replace the master kit tomorrow and hopefully that will solve it.
abangan....

yung akin naman may "gap"
pag step..may gap sya bago kumagat kaya pag angat lang ng konti kumakagat na agad..kaya parang mababaw lang clutch...
and second, pano ba i-drain yung fluid?

loosen the bleed screw (located sa side ng lower master), pump the pedal. have someone add fluid until the fluid coming out of the bleed screw is clear. close the bleed screw. have someone pump the pedal and top up the fluid. open the bleed screw to let air out. do this 2 times until a steady flow of fluid squirks from the screw.

update,
Since wala kaming makitang leak whatsoever, and after bleeding the clutch eh ganun pa din we decided to replace the clutch master kit and ngayon eh okay na.
Thanks for all the replies.
