I change my gear and axle oil every 40,000 kms. Caltex Thuban or Shell Spirax.will do, just check your manual for the recommended grade of gear and transmission oil.

Every 40K is fine unless you travel a lot on dusty and flooded conditions... Some change as early as every 25K.

thanks for your reply vinj and falken!

but how about in a gas car w/ manual transmission? every 40,000 kms din ba ang ideal time to change gear and transmission oil?

and also sa break, steering and clutch fluid, kelangan din bang regular na pinapalitan ito or they only must always maintain the proper fluid amount in the reservor? if not, tuwing kelan dapat palitan ang break, steering at clutch fluid?

sorry po for my stupidity bago lang po kase ako when it comes to automotive. thanks again for you help!

It's better to drain and change fluids during the recommened intervals and not just top up when needed as these absorb dirt and moisture and even water from our roads. Usually every 40,000kms but you can refer to the owners manual of your car for more info on the actual specs and interval.
