Anybody tried EBC Greenstuff pads? I know it's kinda expensive because it's made of Kevlar. Any other recommendations especially for Automatic Transmissioned cars. Thanks!

I drive a Corolla GLi A/T and I've tried EBC Greenstuff kelvar brake pads.

They grip pretty well and can take lots of abuse and heat build up before fading.

And yes, they are kinda expensive.

I currently use Bendix metallic brake pads. Costs slightly more than stock pads but grips better than stock. These doesn't take as much heat as the EBC greenstuff though but more than enough even for some street racing at night.

Same here, mine's also AT '94 Corolla. I saw the EBC in Roadstar, Mkti, I just don't remember the price. How much did you get yours and where?
Regarding Bendix, some mechanics say they tend to squeek after sometime, how true?

GH, how's your rotors? I used to have the Metallic on my slotted rotors. It eats up my rotors pretty quick

no squeeks and I have been using Bendix pads for around two years na.

I got my EBC pads direct from the importer to help him test them out. He gave me a hefty discount on the price... But even then, its still expensive compared to bendix pads.

My cross-drilled/slotted rotors are holding up pretty well even with the metallic pads. Anyway, if my rotors gets worn down, I still have my stock rotors.

    Hi Ghosthunter,

Sino yung importer mo for EBC stuff ? Gusto ko sana ng SUV series na EBC brakepads but they do not sell them locally. Special order pa ata dapat ...

    Thanks!

Sina Auto_Xer merong EBC brake pads, and he has stock for my SUV ride. Though I'm not using the GreenStuff, it's EBC 4x4 Series for the fronts and ordinary EBC pads for the rear.
