Greetings fellow tsikoteers! I have a problem regarding clutch fluid leak. Sinilip ko sa loob(driver's side) above the clutch pedal, merong tumatagas na clutch fluid pero mahina lang, that explains kung bakit palagi nababawasan ang fluid sa reservoir. My uncle said i should by a repair kit for that. madali lang ba ayusin ito and san ko pwede ipagawa? san nakakabili ng ganitong repair kit(tama ba na repair kit ang tawag) pls help. By the way, car is ae92. Thanks in advance.

that's a clutch master leak, you need a clutch master kit for that, di ko alam kung magkano para sa oto mo and meron yan sa mga ordinary auto supply.

madali lang ayusin yan, any competent mechanic can easily repair that.

yup...palit na agad yan...mahirap malusutan ng clutch while on the road...already happened to me 2x! first was while on a site visit (whew!), 2nd, i had to be towed (damn towtrucks, napamahal tuloy ako). ngayon, may leak or wala, i replace at least every 1.5 to 2 years as preventive.

Last april 2006 ako nagpalit ng clutch repair kit. wala pang one year nag leak ulit. Im planning to buy a replacement clutch master assembly nalang instead of a repair kit... Would appreciate your inputs. Should i buy abother repair kit or whole clutch assembly nalang? kung sakali man, ok ba ang replacement clutch assembly? Thanks in advance.

don't waste your money on the repair kit and buy a good quality assembly nalang. not the cheap stuff tho kasi mabilis din bumigay yun.

Check mo yung barrel ng clutch master kung may sugat or tama na which can destroy the repair kit. Of course, it's always nice to just get the whole assembly. Php850 is actually not bad a bad deal.

Seiken is a good replacement brand. Rocky also makes kits for other brands.

I had the same problem with my EE90 I also replaced the whole assembly, although Shell said ok pa naman yung assembly yung kit lang daw ok na. For Toyota Parts I get it as ND in cubao, 20th ave ata sila.

You can also have the shop/gas station check the assembly before buying a new one. Tinatanggal nila yon then they try to pump it to see if it's still able to push the clutch fluid. AFAIK, if its soft it need to be repaired or replaced. Basically the same procedure they should have done before installing the fixed/replacement assembly. They check if its working properly before putting it back in the car.

Too bad I dint see this thread sooner, sana binigay ko na lang yung luma kong assembly, yung strainer lang yung sira. Then again, its been sitting in a shelf for over a year so I dont know if its still in A-1 condition.
