Clutch Pedal Free Travel

i'm having this problem after ko magpalit ng clutch ng ride ko: parang ang laki ng free travel ng clutch pedal... since hindi sya cable type clutch, paano kaya ang adjustment nito? and...kung iaadjust ko, may magbabago ba sa timpla ng clutch? TIA!!!

free travel? mataas ba o mababa? sa pedal ka mag adjust sa push rod.

hindi ko masabi kung mataas o mababa pero ok naman yung timpla kapag wala na yung space ng free travel...mga more than 2cm yun...paano ko aadjust yung push rod? pero cge...i'll check to see if meron nga. thanks.

yep, kapag ganyan just peep under the pedal itself and adjust there.

if your refering to play baka hindi naka tutok yun pedal sa pushrod kaya there's a delay before your pedal touches the end of the pushrod.

magulo lang yung illustration ... napagpalit nila ang label ng "SWITCH A" at "SWITCH B"

mga sir patulong po. base po sa pic ok naman ung letter A at B ng clutch pedal ko. pero ung C po 4 inches lang tapos ung D 0.5 inch lang. ok lang po na ganun?. pinabago ko kasi ung taas ng clutch pedal ko dati, dati halos 1 inch ang taas sa brake pedal, pinababaan ko ng half inch na mas mababa sa preno..
medyo hindi smooth ung shift ng gear kumpara sa dati. nakaapekto po kaya un?
civic 2000 mt. bago palit clutch master at slave. clutch assembly?( un pong disc, plate at bearing) mga 20k kms pa lang. gear oil parang last year lang ako nagpalit. thanks.

hmm..hindi ko lam kung ganuun talaga eh...kasi yung ibang mga naging sasakyan namin hindi naman ganun kalaki ang gap ng free play ng clutch pedal...btw this is my first honda...nanggaling ako sa lancer singkit glxi at colt mirage glx.

Was the clutch fluid drained in the process? Might have to bleed air out?

sir, usually, ang basic procedure is may luluwagan kang bleed screw (not sure with civics) then bobombahin yung clutch pedal para mailabas yung hangin. once back to "normal" level na yung pedal (minimal play), natanggal na yung hangin.

you would need a helper (or a friend) na magbobomba nung pedal, and a small bottle of clutch fluid, as you would need to top off the reservoir in the process, and may tatapon ka ring fluid. mapapansin mo na may air bubbles na lalabas sa may bleed screw habang binobomba yung clutch. once ok na, higpitan lang yung bleed screw and fill the reservoir properly.

one note - some vehicles need to have the ignition turned to "on" para makapag-bleed.

1. Yung bushing sa kinakabitan ng lock nut C
Baka wornout na
2. Yung mismong arm na nakakabit Yung lock nut c may free play na.. It needs to be rebuilt na.
3. May free play na Yung bolt ng arm-- needs to be rebuild na din..
