Plate number illumination

I recently purchased a new vehicle. Gamit ko siya for halos 1 week oblivious to the fact na wala palang sabitan ng plaka sa likod?! Niremedyuhan na lang sa kasa na nagbutas na lang sa may pinto near the spare tire. My question is, di kaya ako magkakaproblema sa LTO pag tumatakbo ako sa kalsada lalo na pag gabi? di naman bawal na walang ilaw sa plate number ng sasakyan especially kung wala naman naka-design? thanks

Local laws require the rear license plate to be illuminated. What is your vehicle and why does it not have an illuminated license plate holder? All major vehicle markets require that there be a dedicated and illuminated position for the rear license plate in all vehicles sold.

Enforcement is lax in our setting. But you wouldn't want to get the Tsikoteers mad, don't you?

Yup yup Rav4 ung unit...ngyaak patay walang ganiyan sabitan sa ilalim ng bumper garnish. Tumawag ako sa Toyota dealer to ask about kung may ilaw yung sa 4X2 na may garnish, sabi nila wala daw illumination kahit sa 4x2. nagpapalusot lang yata mga ungas. Ang weird naman. post ko later pic ng unit ko so you guys could see. thanks.

Both variants appear to have provisions for the rear plate. Its just like the CRVs.

Saw some operations before in some SLEX entry tollgates early nights, habang nakapila ang mga sasakyan sa tollgate, merong tumitingin kung walang plate lights, at i-raradyo sa naka-abang lagpas ng tollgate. Paglagpas ng tollgate huli na sila. Haven't seen or heard anything else lately though, especially in M.Mla.

i admire you, ferdie. while other people are spending money to hide their plates with those colored glass plates, you are concerned with your plate illumination.

The positioning of the rear plate provisions for the 2006 RAV4 is the same as the 2002-06 CRV. The CRV's rear plate has illumination (when the headlights are activated). I didnt notice the RAV4's.
