Kaya usually imported ang mga naka-ganyan is "free shiping" yan from source country to here as part of diplomatic courtesy natin. hindi naman lahat imported basta mag-aaply ka lang for it, kahit kia pride pwede naka-diplo plates basta tamang papers. Ang qualified for these plates if im correct are those foreigners from the embassies and yung mga economists and employees of the ADB
you should see when all the ambassadors converge at the papal nuncio.
how about those single digit numbered plates? Alam ko, 1 reserved for the president, 2 for VP. alam ko pati sa senate, congress, pati sa SC, CA justices may corresponding number, anyone know yung corresponding number nila?
for a time nagkaroon ng clamp down kasi madami gumagamit nung "8" na congressman/woman's plates, kadamihan peke. Meron pa yung plates na "16" for mga judges yata.

1000 - ambassador
Diplomatic immunity does not apply if you break the rules or laws.
Just this afternoon, around 4:15 p.m. I was following this Gen 1 CRV with blue OEV plates on Sedeno street. The traffic light was on red, and there was a "no right turn on red" sign on the corner. This caucasian guy made a right turn anyway - maybe he did not notice the sign, or maybe he was also thinking he was "untouchable". When I made the turn (on green, of course), I saw the vehicle stopped midway to the Ayala intersection. He was apprehended by a Motorcycle cop (PNP not the MMDA or MAPSA traffic enforcers).
