What are the steps to transfer ownership of cars?

Hi,

I'll be renewing my car registration by August this year and I would like to transfer the car ownership to my name too since it is still in an open deed of sale. What are the steps I need to do for this?

Requirements
Original copy of the Certificate of Registration (CR) or Certificate of Registration Encumbered (CRE)
Original copy of official receipt of payment of latest MVUC and other fees
Original copy of the Deed of Sale/ Transfer/ Conveyance
Confirmation of CR/OR in case the transacting district office is different from the district office that issued the current certificate of registration
Written consent from the financing company in case of CRE
PNP-TMG MV Clearance Certificate
Duly accomplished and approved Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR)
Appropriate Insurance Certificate of Cover
Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN)

Procedure
1. Proceed to the transaction counters and submit all the required documents to the Evaluator for evaluation and computation of fees.
2. Actual inspection of motor vehicles with duly accomplished MVIR. (This form is available for download here. You can accomplish this form prior to transacting your business at the LTO.)
3. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for the necessary fees and obtain an Official Receipt (OR).
4. Proceed to the Releasing Counter when your name is called to obtain the Certificate of Registration (CR), plates, stickers, and other requested documents.

they should.. go to the PNP HQ in your area and ask them.. or LTO.. they will know.

Nope, transfer is only done sa office ng first registration nung CR ng car mo, kung example sa lto tayuman ang first registration, dun din ang transfer of ownership.

^My uncle buys cars from Manila and does the transfer in the province. The local LTO district does the verification from the LTO district where vehicle was first registered. Mali yung notion na sa originating district lang puwedeng mag-transfer ownership dahil kahit saang LTO puwede.

if the car's mother file or CR originally registered in lipa district office? can I have it transfered to my name by providing HPG/PNP Clearance from LTO/HPG Las pinas? I read somewhere that PNP Clearance from Camp Crame can be used nationwide but for issued in regional office, it is valid only for that region.

Ask ko lang po sana paano ko po malalakad ung transfer of ownership ko kasi po ako po ata ung pang apat na owner nung sasakyan eh walang deed of sale sa previous owners kasulatan lang po ung meron pati po ung naging transaction namin nang previous owner. ngayon po gusto ko po sana gawan nang deed of sale para ma transfer po ung vehicle sa pangalan ko kaso po nung hinanap ko po ung naka rehistro sa or/cr nung sasakyan sa facebook kasi po ung unit galing pampanga ako po sa baguio kaya nung hinanap ko po eh pumanaw na po ung naka rehistro sa or/cr paano po kaya un? ano po kelangan kong gawin para po malakad ung deed of sale at ma transfer ko po ung vehicle sa name ko po. ^ Medyo masalimuot ang sitwasyon pero may paraan. Kung mahahanap mo ang heirs nun deceased at may hawak kang deed of sale baka pwede execute new deed of sale in behalf ng heirs, or baka pwede pakiusapan pumirma. Kung hindi naman ask mo sa LTO sa paraan, bka humingi lang nga ng padulas.. After ma perfect ang DOS, microetching sa crimelab at HPG clearance then balik ka sa LTO for regs.

Patulong lang mga boss. Nakabili ako ng 2nd hand car kumpleto naman documents and registered in cavite until october 2021. Pauwi ako pinas this coming may or june plano ko sana ako na maguwi ng sasakyan sa gensan. My questions are:

1. Ok lang ba na sa gensan na ko mgpa transfer of ownership?
2. Kung mgpatransfer ako s lto this may or june kelangan ko din ba irenew ung rehistro pra magpareho ang pangalan sa cr and or?
3. Kung kelangan tlga irenew din ang rehistro so ibig sabihin mgbabayad p din ako sa october so mdodoble?
4. Ung father ko nka sign sa deed of sale kasi sya nag asikaso dhil wla ako sa pinas. Di ba ko mgkakaproblema s paglipat sa pangalan ko ng sasakyan?

Nag iisip din ako na ipacargo na lang ung sasakyan sa gensan medyo mahal lang kasi price. Inaalala ko kasi pag ako nagbyahe wala ako lisensya sa pinas. Gamit ko lang ung saudi license ko at passport di ko alam kung ok na un pag sumakay ng roro.
