The purpose of number coding is to reduce the volume of vehicles in metro manila, but when classes in all levels are suspended, (because of inclement whether) volume is reduced. In this situation it should be AUTOMATIC that number coding should be suspended too. Pity the working people who can't use their cars and therefore commute in this weather.

I was thinking of this the other day. I remember umuulan na ng malakas at marami na baha, suspension of classes, etc. Just today CNN was it or Fox News showed a kid attempting to cross a flooded part of the street.

During the window time in valid cities, puwede na?

pag suspension of classes/work, hinde po. pag walang announcement ang mmda, ibig sabihin tuloy ang number coding.

For the past days that classes, and even government offices, were suspended, I still experienced horrendous traffic in the afternoon along EDSA.

i think meron internal, unofficial policy ang mmda na hindi sila manghuhuli ng mga coding vehicles in times like these.

I placed my license at the dash board just to let them know im ready to get a ticket. my plate ends with a 9 , I used pasig-c5-villamor - airport road. Hmmm...

I commented sa makati twitter on the last storm before this one.

I said what are they waiting for? Everyone has declared no classes. Ganyan ba kami sa makati? Mabagal?

My son studies there and its almost 6am.

Ayon i got blocked by the idiot who controlls their Twitter account. Haha

    2nd car to purchase (taxable)
2nd car to anual register (taxable)
2nd car to fuel up (taxable)
2nd car to maintain / PMS (taxable)
2nd car to pay insurance (taxable)
and lots more taxable (anything you purchase to your 2nd "coding" car)

I can hear you bro. Unfortunately, in our corrupt goverment system compounded by short minded goverment leaders & officials, coding is the only thing left that goverment won't spend & yet generate revenue. If only had our leaders made use a little part of their brain, we won't be in this situation.

Look at DOWH Director for NCR, yan ang dapat unang bitayin. Puro hukay, walang gumagawa tapos iyayabang nya, blacklist yung contractor. Who cares kung patayin nya o blacklist o pitikin nya yung contractor of his choice, the fact is naperwisyo na si Juan dela Cruz. That compounds the traffic brought about by kakulangan ng kayle.

yes, you have no idea how many they are...

but looking at the other side this will also benefit dun sa mga wala pambili ng "coding car" - to have the freedom to use your tax paid car 7 days a week just like a govt vehicle!

at dun sa may pang bili naman they wont have to buy another "coding car" to further pollute the planet (nasaan yong pollution? nasa consumables ng car like oil, filters, brake fluids, etc), plus more savings to them

About government vehicles, official naman yun pag gamit (I do hope). Dito samin kahit coding nilalabas nila, pero i can attest wala gumagamit ng red plate for personal use. Pahirapan nga mag request ng service if after office hours ang travel.
